God created us to live in community together with others, so life is better when we live it connected to friends. Groups give us a chance to experience discipleship in relationship with others, just the way God designed. Central Groups are led by a variety of leaders in various stages of life, and different groups are available that meet both on and off campus. Below is a list of all the options you will find at Central. We believe there is a place for you!
Convenient Connections
Sunday mornings are an ideal time to find deeper relationships with others at Central. Our Sunday Morning Groups meet on our campus every Sunday at 9am before our worship service. In any given group you’ll find great connections, engaging discussions, and teaching from some of the leading Biblical teachers and experts in our fellowship.
Discipleship & Beyond
Do you desire a smaller setting for discipleship, and the opportunity to connect at a more personal level with friends outside of activities at Central? Life Groups meet to study the Bible during the week in homes or coffee shops all over the Springfield area, with groups for all ages and stages of life.
Experiences & Encouragement
Our Men’s Groups and Women’s Groups gather for various reasons—from simple friendship and common interests, to prayer and support, to Bible study. These are a great way to connect with others who are—or already have—experienced the challenges men and women uniquely face in life.
Time for a little Sportsball
Hone that pickleball dink, maintain your swing, or just get some good steps in. Central’s Sports Groups are a great way to stay active while meeting new people! We have a growing list of options, including favorites like pickleball and softball.
Well-deserved camaraderie
However old your children are, Central knows that having the support and encouragement of other moms is critically important. We have Mom’s Groups that meet both in the morning and evening to fit your schedule best.
A Firm Foundation
At Central, we believe everything we do is built on prayer. That’s why we have multiple options for Prayer Groups to meet on our campus throughout the week. Join with us to pray for our church family, our pastors, ministries, needs, and ways to make a difference in our community and around the world.
